Original Entry was actually a set of stairs going to nowhere because the podium platform had been built over them.
Tile that looks like wood, and real oak bullnose on steps.
Below left, The original stained glass in the church sanctuary was really drafty and cracked. Elby fashioned stained glass panels as interesting lighting in the hallway. And on the right, Wendel's parents had an original Samoan tapestry that they gifted to us, as they had no wall big enough to display it. If fits right at home in our hallway!
Below left, the original stairs were a side by side up and down: both narrow and steep. We chose to do away with them and make just a down stair in that space, making a small room for our media library. The picture on right shows a piece of artwork that Elby carved into the chunks of plaster that fell away from the basement walls.
